Mr. Yov Khemara, Director of Sihanoukville Vocational Training Department, said that Sihanoukville has 10 special economic zones, of which three are in operation: Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone, Sihanoukville Autonomous Port Special Economic Zone and SEZ. Especially Cambodian Jay over Gorji.
He added that Sihanoukville Special Economic Zone is the largest special economic zone with 124 enterprises producing garments, electronics and other consumer goods.

Sihanoukville has many special economic zones with factories, small and large enterprises, creating jobs for local people and a major economic development pole. Currently, the three special economic zones employ more than 30,000 local people.
The Cambodian government aims to turn Sihanoukville into a multi-purpose special economic zone with investment in infrastructure to make this coastal province an attractive destination for foreign investment in Cambodia’s development.
